Easy Wipe Cleaning Services is a project where I worked from the very beginning of the business. I was involved in everything from naming and branding to developing the lead generation strategy and selecting the software to automate most of its processes. I designed the brand with consideration for its application across all platforms, from swag and uniforms to digital assets such as social media, the website, and ads. The name came from the idea of simplifying a service that should be easy for everyone, focusing on excellence and recurrence, creating an excellent service, and building a predictable and healthy business.
I built the entire website and all the printed materials, all of which are tracked by smart links or fully tracked by Google Tag Manager. This tracking allows us to understand the customer journey and identify the points of contact that we should improve to acquire more clients and reduce the cost per acquisition.
This service business relies heavily on word of mouth, so I developed a system to automatically gather reviews on Google after each cleaning. I also created an email sequence in Mailchimp to increase sales by sending emails to those who abandoned the booking system without completing a booking. A sequence of discounts is automatically sent to their inbox until they become a client.
I also set up Google Ads and Google Local Business campaigns to determine the lowest cost per lead and cost per acquisition. As we have just started the project, I don't have the numbers yet, but it seems Google Local Ads is performing very well, much better than Yelp, Bark, or even simple Google Ads campaigns. The next traffic stream I will test is Facebook Ads to retarget visitors who went to our website but didn't convert.
Despite being less than two months old, the business is already showing huge potential. The ads strategy helped the business to get a strong start, generating more than $2,000 in revenue with a budget of $456.94. This shows a huge potential for scaling after optimizing the ads and conducting some A/B tests on the landing pages and signup forms on the website.
